I run iTunes on a 27" iMac in fullscreen mode, which means that iTunes gets its own space. Furthermore, when I watch a movie, TV show, etc. in iTunes, that gets yet another space. However, once my "motion picture content" has completed playing, instead of going back to iTunes, I instead get taken back to a different space; I think I'm being taken back to the last non-fullscreen-app-space I used before using iTunes. What's equally frustrating is that iTunes is still the app listed in the menu bar, but yet not on my screen.
For what it's worth, these are my Spaces settings in Mission Control:
- Show Dashboard as a space: unchecked
- Automatically rearrange spaces based on most recently used: unchecked
- When switching to an application, switch to a space with open windows for the application: checked
Why does the automatic closing of the video window not take me back to the main iTunes window instead of some non-fullscreen app space?
