Hi everyone,

So, I have the HDMI adapter that plugs into my Thunderbolt port (I have a Macbook Pro), and I have the HDMI cable that goes from the adapter into the VGA of my TV. The TV isn't letting me select VGA when I go to "input" and I'm totally confused.

Any ideas?

This is what I get when I try to screencap with iTunes and SnapNDrag. It doesn't make any sense to me. Help? - Sissy

I want to resize three pictures so that the heights are all the same. I'm keeping the width as is and just changing the height to a smaller number like 400px, and I want them all to be 400px. But one of them keeps saving as like 399px or 398px and I can't seem to get all the heights the same. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thank you!

I have used SnapNDrag for years and it is not working for me. When I use it, I just get the gray and white blocks. Any ideas ? - Sissy

The little green iSight webcam light on both my iMac and MacBook Pro will light up at random times. I don't know if anything is wrong, I was hoping someone would know why it does this. I have gotten no alerts from Little Snitch so I am sure I haven't been "hacked." Does anyone know why it does this?

I made an animation a long time ago with a Mac G4, and saved it as a .movie file. It's not the same as .mov. I can't even open it now because I have a PC.
I tried downloading an old version of Quicktime 7, but it didn't work. I got an error message. Even Youtube hates it.
I don't want to get another toolbar virus by experimenting with bad software. How can I safely open this Apple .movie file on my PC?

If I purchase music from the iTunes app on my computer and I have iTunes in the Cloud set to automatically add music to my iPhone, do I have to have the Music app open on the phone for the duration of the download of the music? Is there a way I can just have that music added to my phone when I sync with iTunes even if I'm using iTunes Match with the phone?

I run iTunes on a 27" iMac in fullscreen mode, which means that iTunes gets its own space. Furthermore, when I watch a movie, TV show, etc. in iTunes, that gets yet another space. However, once my "motion picture content" has completed playing, instead of going back to iTunes, I instead get taken back to a different space; I think I'm being taken back to the last non-fullscreen-app-space I used before using iTunes. What's equally frustrating is that iTunes is still the app listed in the menu bar, but yet not on my screen.

For what it's worth, these are my Spaces settings in Mission Control:

• Show Dashboard as a space: unchecked


• Automatically rearrange spaces based on most recently used: unchecked


• When switching to an application, switch to a space with open windows for the application: checked

Why does the automatic closing of the video window not take me back to the main iTunes window instead of some non-fullscreen app space?

My Aluminum Macbook has recently developed a cluster of problems:

1. The charger has become finicky. It won't power the computer all the time; I have to take it out and put it in a few times and/or find just the right angle at which to do it.

2. Right after it started doing this, I heard a chirp, then it shut itself off. (It's now done this twice.)

3. I've also heard a lot more clicking from the HD lately. Dunno if this is related.

I'm puzzled by the involvement of the hard drive. I've ordered a new charger, so we'll see if that's it. This is a replacement hard drive, if that's important; not the original.

Any ideas?

My dad found this thing in a car that a friend of his is selling. I looked at it and I thought it was an iPod (when I show you the photos, you'll know why I thought this) but I noticed something strange about it. It has no place to hook it to your computer, no headphone jack and when I started playing with the thing, the songs I have on iTunes on my MacBook started playing.
